  the R5 already has the dvdscr audio in it with the ART release they just mislabelled it…. It is no diff!!!!

  Do you have this copy, bob? The art copy has bad, overly compressed audio. Likely art took the audio from the screener avi, rather than the dvd, and then re-compressed it. It sounds horrible. I hope this is better.

  @ bob  and any other noob out there

  it is clear that arts release is not up to par… maybe for some ppl who want a shitty copy and like cams…. but devise’s copy is def better…. always trust them to beat the competition… maybe not in speed but def in quality and skill of their releases…..

  art release is not R5… it’s fake.. it’s the cropped dvdscr already released by alliance… all R5’s are 25FPS (no exceptions)…. art release is 23fps

  The art release is not a fake, it is an r5, and not a cropped dvdscr. Guaranteed. The frame rate has nothing to do with it since that can be changed when encoding. I assure you that the video quality of the art rip is far superior to the dvd screener quality. In fact, it’s not even close. Proof is in the picture. Take the dvdscr, trv crop and art versions and stop them in the first race scene, inside the tunnel, at ~1 min 50sec in. There you go. Glaring proof. Done.

  Apparently some people do, Stan. Gives you something to measure this by, after all. And it’s always best if people are not ill-informed. Knowledge is power.

  Yep, this looks and sounds much better than the art version. Wonder what is missing, though…?

  Ye some people do, u know why? because one is 1cd  the other is 2cd for u maybe doesnt matter but for others is important, they just want to see the movie, if i can get it with 1cd great otherwise if i dont have any other choice lets go, something is important in this movie is why i dont care 2cd is a fast movie with lots effects much action so 2cds is perfect for this kind of movies better quality less pixels.

  there are no minutes missing, its because of the framerate, this is someone else his explantion, i didn’t know howto explain in such few words.
  “Film runs at 24 frames per second whilst PAL is at 25 fps (and NTSC runs at 29.97 fps). So if no timestretching is done 1 second of film converts to slightly less than 1 second of PAL footage (more so with NTSC). Or in other words, 25 secs of film converts to roughly 24 secs of PAL footage. And if you multiply it up this means that a 90 min film ends up being 86.4 mins long if converted directly into PAL.”
