Since I haven’t seen this complaint for at least a month or two, I’ll bring it up again, and I realize this site is not to blame, but I believe the scene and ridiculous rules, etc. Considering almost all of us are off dial-up and are now quite used to DSL speeds or better… what brainchild decided it was worth archiving a single avi (a fairly compressed format to start with) into 49 archives, then archiving those 49 archives into 8 archives, all to save 3 Mb, or 0.4% of the original file size. How about we just split the avi using hjsplit or something? Oh my goodness… what a revolutionary I am!
Seriously… dumb, dumb, dumb (and increases the chance of download/uncompacting errors 3-fold.
p.s. this one worked for me though… and now I notice some 1-clicks have been added. Doh.

i beleive that u r jus as likely to enconter errors when spliting the avi with hjsplit-not that i hav eva had any errors at all when downloading a movie in rar parts

well i have to say lucky you deano. maybe you could give me some tips. i get corrupt errors regularly. i agree with OrthodoxAtheist why bother archiving to save so little.

also archiving stops alot of deletion problems as u able to set paswords on ur files
