The series starts off with 15-year-old Amy Juergens, who
had just gotten home from band. The next day at school,
she tells two of her friends that she had sex with
someone.She tells her friends that she thinks she is
pregnant. You also meet her sister and her two supportive
friends. As for Amy, she is afraid to tell her parents. You
also find out that she got pregnant by an upperclassmen bad
boy drummer with his own issues, and a sort of gilrfriend. In
the end, she is about to talk to her parents alone, but
receives a call from someone and is unable to do so. The call
turns out to be from Ben asking her on a date.She decides to
go, despite her troubles. Ben picked her as a bet with his
friends but shortly decides he really likes her and the
episode ends with the two of them dancing alone in the
gym.
