  Rumour has it the VHS screeners are leaks or copies either from aircraft entertainment systems for older planes or hotel pay per views. I am no ’scener’ though so have little to back that up.

  It is, however, annoying - who the hell uses VHS these days? I thought everywhere would be digital (ie. DVD or digital files). Oh well - they are turning up pretty early so the sources must be pretty reliable.

  not all places are digital… our theaters are still in reel.. so go figure, theres no rush at all.. everything will be digital by next yr…

  come on kingben why you not recoding this like you did with all the rest

  Just downloaded and checked.  I see NO ’scratchy lines’ on the left side.  Sound has some low-level crackle, 1 place about 0.2ms OOS, but other 31 points checked are fine. Little grainy picture, maybe purposeful. Definitely worth burning (and then updating with DVD-Rip once available.  I’ve waited long enough to see this one so I’ll be watching soon.  If quality secretly fooled me, I’ll post an update.  8/7/?

  just d/l from bizhat now seeing this fuzzy fat lines on the left side that fade in & out
  kinda like when you rent an old tape you see how less & less the tape preserves the qulity
  what im the only 1 with this ? ) :
